Dresch's MUSIC PLAYING MAGYARKANIAN AND SEGED

organizer: Regional Creative Workshop, Magyarkanizsa

Mihály Dresch and his influence have been in South Hungary for the first time in 1979, as well as his master, György Szabados, who was in our region for the first time in the same year. The Hungarian musical mother tongue, as a basis, has been naturally and so many facial features since Bartókék in today's music. At the moment, this is heard in Szilárd Mezei's opus. (Don't forget about István Kovács Tickmayer, who lives in Orléans!) Mihály Dresch has played with Szilárd Mezei several times (Hungarian Royal Court Orchestra, Grencsó sextett, Adyton workshops...) but they have only been together with the Mezei quartet for two songs at the Salland festival. For the first time, Magyarkanizsa (Hungariankanizsa House of Arts, Small Stage, Friday, February 20, 19.00) and Szeged (No Milk Today 21 February 20.00) are preparing a full-time programme, where the Hungarian folk song will of course be the most powerful basis. This encounter is a rare celebration, where the creators come together primarily in the quality of music.
