Factor Blues Band (1988 , 2025)

In the autumn of 1988, Attila Horváth (Atya) and István Béni (Mouse) met each other in Hódmezővásárhely, but it was not yet possible to predict that this pair would work together for so long. Seven drummers, three guitars and four accordions were needed to form the current formation. From the beginning, Father and Mouse have worked together with unbroken enthusiasm as a composing pair and are dedicated to writing their own songs, inspired by the enthusiasm of the currently active blues musicians, but bearing in mind the traditions. In 1993 the first audio material was matured with the title First Factor. At that time they visited the country and promoted their own songs with a lot of performances. From the most prestigious festivals, to the most remote blue pubs, they performed almost everywhere, mostly with noisy success. In 1996, the album "Aging Blues" was created, reflecting another sound world. The rocky sound was added to a more contained blues atmosphere. Towards the end of the 1990s, the demand for live blues music declined, so this less action gave the opportunity to open up to other types of formations. Each member of the band tried new musical formations, but the Factor remained the same. In 2002, there was a new album titled Blues at every kilometerstone. A couple of acoustic songs appeared on this one. At this time, as part of a more active club music life, the band again performed at several locations nationwide, but after a few years it rang again. Then, in 2008, the album "The Club of Refugees" appeared. In parallel with the new material, the band made an unplugged show, in many places, especially in small pubs. The band became more mature, more accustomed, and developed much in terms of both music and concert strategy. They give very dynamic, professional concerts, their show is a real treat for rock-blue fans. In 2013, the world of the Father came out with a double album based on double acoustic blues, with 15 new songs on the first album, and the second with the acoustic processing of 15 old Factor Blues Band songs. The more than 35-year-old band still plays its own songs with its usual need, which sometimes process the inexhaustible themes of everyday life from a very specific perspective.
